Founder

Rusty Clifton

Rusty founded Re/mark in 2015 as a New York-style agency in the mountains of Salt Lake City. Part creative, part entrepreneur, Rusty believes that we perceive brands as we perceive people, a relationship that demands respect. Rusty has led major branding efforts for large CPG brands such as Band-Aid, Listerine, Benadryl and Estee Lauder as well as 360 brand work for medium-to-small companies and start-ups. He has also worked with household names such as Disney, AMEX, Nickelodeon and Mattel and has awards from Cannes, Art Directors Club, One Show, Clio, and the AIGA, among others. Rusty holds an MFA in design from School of Visual Arts and a BFA in design from Brigham Young University.

Kate Corkum

Prior to moving to Salt Lake City and joining the Remark team, Kate was an Executive Producer and Artist’s Representative at a boutique fashion photography agency in New York where she worked with clients such as Nike, Sephora, Estee Lauder, and GAP. With over 15 years of both in-house and agency production management, account and team management, photography and brand development experience, she has a passion for executing projects within budgets and deadlines while translating creative direction into successful, visually stunning campaigns. She is a strong arts and design professional with a BA from Fordham University.

Aaron Allen

Aaron Allen is an award-winning writer and content strategist. He holds a Master’s Degree in literature from Brigham Young University and an MFA in fiction writing and translation from Columbia University (NYC). He’s passionate about clear copy that sounds like human speech. And he has a weakness for puns and homophones and other euphonies.

Canace Pulfer

Canace has been working in design and advertising for over two decades, spending the majority of her career inNew York City prior to moving to Salt lake City. From boutique design studios, to large agency assignments, her career has encompassed everything from small identity projects to nationwide captital campaign initiatives. Her client roster inludes work for The New York Times, MIT, UCSF, Bates College, Harvard, Lord Abbett Investments, Imagine Learning, The Academy Museum of Motion Pictues, Human Rights Watch and Berrett Koheler Publishing. Canace recieved a BFA in graphic design from Brigham Young University.

Alicia Pangman

Alicia Pangman grew up in Coalville, Utah, where her appreciation for art and design grew as she explored drawing with pencil and paper. She graduated from the University of Utah with a BFA in Graphic Design—and as a versatile artist, her work includes illustration, web design, motion graphics, branding, and packaging. She has worked on projects for Earth University in Costa Rica and for businesses with interests in sustainability and environmental impact. Locally, she collaborates with the Salt Lake City Arts Council among other community ventures, and enjoys being a designer on the Re/mark team.
